Bearing requirements for drainage ditch

It is inevitable to consider whether the drainage ditch laid outdoors can safely bear the pedestrian or vehicle load imposed on it.

Bearing requirements for drainage ditch

As for load, we can divide it into two parts: static load and dynamic load.

● static load

The load force acts vertically on the drainage ditch system without other movement. It is usually used to test the bearing capacity of the cover plate and ditch body. In practical application, only people or other products are placed on the ditch.

static load

● dynamic load

The moving vehicle produces dynamic load, which can produce torque to displace the ditch. The load borne by ditch body and cover plate, construction method and locking system are the factors that need to be paid attention to when considering dynamic load.

Bearing standard EN1433

The division of load-bearing grade is helpful to select appropriate products according to the actual situation of the project, so that the linear drainage system can achieve a long service life without wasting the budget cost. At present, all domestic and foreign products are divided into six application load-bearing grades: A15, B125, C250, D400, E600 and f900 according to the European Union EN1433 standard and outdoor traffic area.

Pedestrian area, bicycle and other light vehicle driving areas, such as pedestrian street and garden.

A15(15KN)

A15(15KN)

Slow lane, small car parking lot, etc. Such as community channel and parking lot

B125(125KN)

B125(125KN)

Road curb, shoulder area, traffic auxiliary road, large parking lot and stadium

C250(250KN)

C250(250KN)

Road driving lane, fast driving lane, etc

D400(400KN)

D400(400KN)

Driving areas of forklifts, fire trucks and heavy-duty trucks, such as industrial areas and unloading yards.

E600(600KN)

E600(600KN)

Areas where heavy vehicles travel, such as airports, freight ports and military sites.

F900(900KN)

F900(900KN)
